Why routine work cannot recover a neglected building
A routine visit is designed and priced to deal with the soil that arrived since the last one. It has no capacity to also address a year of accumulated deposit in a shower, dust behind furniture, marks on walls that have set, or carpet that has never been extracted. Attempting it means the routine tasks are compromised and the backlog is still there, which produces the worst of both outcomes.
The visible consequence is a client concluding that the new provider is no better than the old one. In reality the building never left the condition it started in. A deep clean resets that baseline in one exercise, and from then on the routine visit is doing what it was designed to do. It is a short-term cost that changes the entire trajectory of the agreement.
