Fitting rooms need more than a floor line
A fitting room is a small enclosed space with a mirror, a seat, hooks, a floor and a curtain or door, and it is used by dozens of people a day. All of those surfaces belong in the scope by name, particularly the mirror and the seat, which show marks immediately. The floor also collects pins, tags, tissues and dropped items, which means it needs attention rather than a pass with the same mop used across the sales area.
What is excluded is anything hanging in the room. Garments left behind may be going back to the floor, may be held for a customer or may be damaged stock awaiting a decision. Staff sort them; a cleaner does not. Stating that clearly prevents the common outcome where garments are moved to a rail and nobody can work out where they came from.
